Capt. Mohammad Mahbubul Matin (Retd) EBFCI
Capt. Mohammad Mahbubul Matin (Retd.) is a distinguished business executive, strategic consultant, and former military officer with extensive experience in business development, project management, administration, and international operations. He is the Founder Chairman, COO, and Lead Consultant of Consultants Consortium, a Dhaka-based consultancy firm providing legal, administrative, technical, and investment advisory services.
He completed his education through prestigious institutions including Mirzapur Cadet College and the University of Dhaka, where he studied English Literature, History, and Political Science. Later, he joined the Bangladesh Military Academy and was commissioned in the Armoured Corps of the Bangladesh Army, with specialized military training in China on Tank Element Commanding.During his military career, he served in various operational, intelligence, training, and administrative roles, including Brigade Headquarters responsibilities in Operations & Intelligence. Following his voluntary retirement from the Army, he built a diverse professional career across Bangladesh and international markets, including leadership roles in tourism, construction, overseas employment, training management, and large-scale operational coordination.
His professional portfolio includes managerial positions in multinational and joint venture companies, overseas workforce training operations, and serving as Chief Security Coordinator for the ICC World Twenty20 in collaboration with the Bangladesh Cricket Board.
Capt. Matin is also widely recognized for his leadership in prestigious social and professional organizations. He served two terms as Secretary-General of Retired Armed Forces Officers' Welfare Association (RAOWA) and held multiple elected leadership and election commissioner roles at renowned clubs including Uttara Club Limited, Cadet College Club, and Dhaka Boat Club Limited.
An avid global traveler, Capt. Matin has visited more than 50 countries and is known for his international exposure, leadership network, and cross-cultural experience.
